SaveMySnaps only allows you to download snaps that haven't been viewed in the official snapchat app first. So when you get a snap, open SaveMySnaps and optionally save it.
When you log into SaveMySnaps you will be automatically logged out of the official snapchat app, there is nothing I can do about this.
