Many of the common variations of Risk can be set using the options menu. You can also vary the initial startup settings to pick your own territories. Supports game saving, loading and exiting at any time. Realtime map drawing allows for full quality graphics on all screens, including panning, zooming, fog of war and multiple drawing styles.
Online games have many settings available and can be either public or private. You choose which lobby to join, or create your own. There's no limit on the number of multiplayer games you can be in, and you'll receive notifications when it's your turn to play. Other features include game chat, private messaging, friend invitations, turn replays and stats tracking.
Currently comes with 38 maps including the classic Risk Earth map. Border Siege players can also create custom maps using a PC map editor. User created maps can be downloaded or submitted on the maps website:
